About LinStar Events
LinStar Events is a boutique event business run by Linden Clarke from Camberwell in Melbourne's east. Linden spent around fifteen years managing projects and events for universities, government and community organisations before moving into events full time, and has since worked at more than 350 functions, from weddings and engagements to milestone birthdays, conferences and product launches. For couples, wedding coordination starts with an online planning session and a walk-through at the venue. Linden reviews the draft and final run sheets, then on the day she oversees supplier arrivals and set-up, cues music and formalities, keeps speeches and meals on time, deals with last-minute changes and helps with the pack-down. She is comfortable with DIY weddings where the couple supplies much of the styling themselves. Corporate, government and education clients use LinStar Events when an internal team is stretched or working remotely. Support can include planning timelines, coordinating venues, AV and caterers, writing action plans and run sheets, managing speakers and volunteers, and running the event on the day. Past work ranges from graduation ceremonies and staff training days to conferences, AGMs, fundraisers and networking events. Because Linden also works as a bartender and catering assistant, she can take on more than one role at a smaller event – coordinating early, then moving behind the bar. It begins with a free online meet and greet. Once booked, the package covers an hour-long video planning call, two hours on site at the venue together, and feedback on each version of the running sheet.

Yes. Linden plans and runs workshops, conferences, staff training days, graduations, launches, AGMs and fundraisers for corporate, government and education clients, including on-the-day delivery.

Party and event support covers metropolitan Melbourne from a Camberwell base, with a travel fee for locations more than 15 km away. Wedding coordination can travel further by arrangement.
