About Alana Tran Celebrant
Alana Tran is a Melbourne-based marriage celebrant and MC who came to celebrancy after many turns as a bridesmaid and planning her own wedding. With a background in law and psychology and a love of public speaking, she brings a calm, organised manner to the ceremony and puts nervous couples at ease. Her packages share one flat fee of $1,199, so the price does not rise with guest numbers, ceremony length or whether you add MC services. The full package is written from scratch around your story and values, with unlimited contact during planning, use of her PA system, and all legal documents prepared and lodged for you. For something smaller, the intimate option can be a legal-only wedding – the required vows, the Monitum and two witnesses, after the 30-day notice period – or a short personalised ceremony for a handful of close people. Couples who want continuity into the evening can keep Alana on as MC, where she works with the venue and coordinators on announcements, transitions and timing until the dance floor is under way. Every couple also gets access to her couples-only portal with help with writing vows, ideas for the ceremony, suggested readings and songs, and supplier recommendations. Can we have a legal-only wedding?
Yes. The intimate option covers a legal-only ceremony with the required vows, the Monitum and two witnesses, held after the minimum 30-day notice period, or it can grow into a short personal ceremony.
Does Alana also MC receptions?
She can stay on as MC after the ceremony, handling announcements, transitions and timing with your venue and coordinators, usually until the dance floor is busy, and longer if needed.
