About Meraklis Catering
Meraklis Catering cooks authentic Greek food for celebrations around Melbourne. The business was started by a man everyone knew as Mr Bill Meraklis, and since the current team took it over in 2017 it has kept his traditional recipes and flavours while presenting them in a more modern way. The name sums up the approach: a meraklis is someone who takes pride in their work and puts care into the details. That shows in the spreads – long grazing boards loaded with cured meats, cheeses, dips, olives, bread and fruit, big bowls of Greek and leafy salads, and hot trays of skewers and roast potatoes served buffet-style. The team caters weddings, milestone birthdays, engagements, family gatherings and christenings, as well as corporate functions and staff events. Menus are worked out with you to suit your tastes, guest numbers and budget, whether the event is an intimate get-together or a large celebration. Staff can serve at the venue of your choice, or meals can be dropped off at your home, office or event space.
