About Fabulous Catering
Fabulous Catering is a Melbourne catering company that has been feeding parties, weddings and corporate functions for two decades. It covers groups from about 20 guests to well over 500, at homes, offices and event spaces across the city. There are three ways to book. With full staff service, chefs arrive with your chosen menu, cook and present it on site, and waiters serve your guests. Delivered hot catering is cooked in the commercial kitchen and arrives ready to serve, while delivered cold catering lets you heat and serve the food yourself to save on cost. Menus cover stand-up finger food, BBQ, banquet, grazing tables, high tea, sit-down dinners, weddings, festive and spring racing events. Expect hand-rolled canapes, gourmet sliders, tapas boxes, grazing boards and carved meats, with dietary options across the range. Supervisors and waiters or bar staff can be added to any function, and the coordinators recommend how many you need based on guest numbers, menu style and whether a bar is required. How much do waiting staff cost?
Waiters and bar staff are listed at $180 ($45 per hour) and supervisors at $192 ($48 per hour). The coordinators recommend staff numbers for your event.
When do final guest numbers need to be confirmed?
Final numbers are due three working days before the function, when timings and staffing can still be changed and the balance is paid.
What is the cancellation policy?
Deposits are refunded in full with more than seven days of notice. With less notice the deposit is kept, though the function can be moved to another date with the deposit carried across.
