About Divine Tours
Divine Tours has been running private wine tours in the Hunter Valley since January 2006, from a base at North Rothbury. It does not sell seats on mixed group tours or run a shuttle: every booking gets its own vehicle and driver, and the day is designed around the group, whether that means a list of favourite cellar doors or leaving the planning to the guide. There are two formats. Exclusive private tours are for two to five people and lean towards the luxury end, with premium tastings, grazing, a dedicated luxury vehicle and a concierge-style driver who can run errands during the day. Private group tours suit six or more and cover milestone birthdays, hens days, family catch-ups and work outings, with groups of up to 20 accommodated. A typical full day includes four venues and a lunch stop, and can mix wine with cheese, chocolate, beer or distillery visits. There is also a mystery-itinerary tour for groups of eight or more, where the team chooses the stops. The fleet is modern Toyota Commuter minibuses with air conditioning and tinted windows, plus a 20-passenger Toyota Coaster for bigger groups. Water is on board and music can be played over Bluetooth. Divine Tours is an accredited tour company, children are welcome on private tours, and dietary needs can be passed on to the restaurants. Rates cover up to seven hours from pick-up to drop-off, and a private tour can be shortened to a half day. Alcohol is not permitted on the buses, and itineraries build in breaks between tastings. Lunch is usually paid on the day, with the team booking the restaurant, pub or fine-dining venue for you.

Frequently asked questions
Does Divine Tours run shared tours?
No. All tours are private to your group, so the vehicle and driver are exclusively yours for the day. There are no mixed groups, shuttles or hop-on hop-off services.
How many people can come?
Exclusive private tours are for two to five people. Private group tours start at six and can take up to 20, using a Toyota Commuter minibus or the 20-seat Toyota Coaster.
Where do you pick up from?
Standard pick-ups cover Pokolbin, Rothbury, Lovedale, Mount View, Cessnock, Quorrobolong and Kurri Kurri. Private tours can also collect from Broke, Wollombi, Maitland and Singleton, and the published prices assume a wine country pick-up.
Can we drink on the bus?
No, alcohol is not permitted on board. The tastings happen at the venues, and the itinerary spaces them out with food and other stops.
Are tasting fees and lunch included?
Lunch is normally self-paid, though the team will book it for you. Tasting fees at cellar doors are set out in your quote before you book, so check what is covered for your itinerary.
