About Gez Xavier Mansfield Photography
Gez Xavier Mansfield is a wedding photographer working from Lorn, just outside Maitland, who has been photographing couples since 2012. His style is documentary rather than directed: he keeps a low profile through the day, steps in when a group shot or portrait needs organising, and otherwise lets the ceremony and reception unfold on their own terms. Before photography he studied theatre and film design at NIDA, and that background shows in how he reads light and a room. He photographs weddings at a long list of Hunter venues, including Enzo Weddings at Pokolbin, Redleaf and The Woodhouse at Wollombi, Leaves and Fishes at Lovedale, Margan at Broke and Chapel Ridge, as well as coastal celebrations further afield. He limits how many weddings he accepts so each couple gets his full attention, and every booking is shot by Gez himself. There are four collections. The Intimate covers up to two hours for small ceremonies, including the signing. The Candid gives eight hours of continuous coverage with a complimentary 45-minute sunset engagement session, and The Signature stretches to ten hours, from morning preparations to the last dance, with timeline help and vendor coordination. The Heirloom adds a 10 x 10 inch fine art linen or velvet album, designed in-house and presented in a box stamped with your names. Sneak peeks arrive within 48 hours, and the full gallery, edited in-house, is delivered through a private online gallery in four to six weeks. Travel to Hunter Valley venues is listed as included. Enquiries get a reply within a day or two, followed by a relaxed video call, and a booking fee holds the date.

Does Gez Xavier Mansfield Photography publish its prices?
The collections are quoted on enquiry. The published add-on rates are $450 per hour for extra coverage, from $1,600 for an album outside The Heirloom, and $550 for a standalone engagement session.
Is an engagement shoot included?
Yes, with The Candid collection, which includes a complimentary 45-minute sunset session. Otherwise an engagement session can be booked separately for $550, in the vineyards, on the beach or somewhere that suits you.
How quickly do we get our photos?
A handful of sneak peeks within 48 hours of the wedding, then the full edited set through a private online gallery, downloadable and shareable, within four to six weeks.
Who actually photographs the wedding?
Gez does. Each collection names him as the photographer, and he keeps his number of weddings low so he can give every couple his attention on the day.
How do we book?
