About Teepeezzz
Teepeezzz is a small Umina Beach business that sets up themed sleepover parties for children. Instead of sleeping bags on the floor, each guest gets their own handcrafted teepee over a foam mattress, styled around a theme the family picks from the range, with options for both girls and boys. The set-ups suit birthday sleepovers and other special nights in, for anywhere from two to twelve children. Every teepee comes with a mattress and protector, fitted sheets, a cosy blanket, decorative cushions, a breakfast tray, a fur rug and themed accessories, all lit with battery-powered fairy lights and lanterns so no power is needed indoors. Each teepee takes up roughly 1.8 by 1.2 metres, and the tents can be arranged in different layouts to fit the room. Guests bring only their own pillow, and the linen is washed with a hypoallergenic detergent after every party, so there is no washing left for the hosts. Booking starts with the online enquiry form, where families share the date, the number of guests, the preferred teepee type and theme, and any access issues such as stairs. Once availability is confirmed, a $100 deposit holds the date and theme, and the balance is due a week before the party. The team arrives on the day to style the space, takes under an hour to set up and returns the next day to pack down. Custom set-ups can also be discussed, with extra cost if new props need to be bought.

Frequently asked questions
What comes with each teepee?
Each tent has a foam mattress with a protector, fitted sheets, a blanket, decorative cushions, a breakfast tray, a fur rug, themed decorations and battery fairy lights. Guests only need to bring a pillow.
How many children can a sleepover cater for?
Packages start at two teepees and the usual booking is six, but parties from two up to twelve guests have been set up. Tents beyond six are added at $60 each.
Does someone from Teepeezzz stay for the party?
No. The team styles the whole set-up before guests arrive and comes back the following day to pack it away, but the party itself is hosted by the family.
How much room is needed?
Allow about 1.8 metres by 1.2 metres for each teepee. The tents can be lined up or grouped in different ways to suit the shape of the room.
Is there a delivery charge?
Delivery is free within 25 km of Umina Beach. Parties 25 to 50 km away carry a $30 travel fee, and those 50 to 100 km away a $50 fee.
