Clear allCouples marrying in and around Gosford can choose between three quite different kinds of reception: a clubhouse right on Brisbane Water, a large purpose-built events centre, and a working craft brewery that hands over its whole taproom for the night. Each suits a different guest list and a different style of celebration.
Gosford Sailing Club and Bay Road Brewing are both in Gosford itself, on Masons Parade by the water and on Donnison Street in town. The Gallery @ Gosford RSL Club sits across the water in West Gosford on the Central Coast Highway.
How the three compare for a wedding:
The bigger your guest list, the more the choice narrows: past 200 it's The Gallery, under 100 all three are in play, and the style of meal you want often settles the rest.

That's Gosford Sailing Club, where ceremonies take place on the deck over Brisbane Water, and the reception then moves inside. Hire runs in four-hour blocks, so ask how the ceremony fits into your booking.
Up to 650 guests fit at The Gallery @ Gosford RSL Club, which can also be split into smaller soundproofed rooms for a more intimate dinner. Gosford Sailing Club seats 150 with the whole club, and Bay Road Brewing seats about 70.
It can be. Bay Road Brewing hires out the whole venue for wedding celebrations, seating around 70 or holding 100 standing. It's family friendly and welcomes dogs, and function prices are given on enquiry, so contact the brewery with your date and numbers.
Gosford Sailing Club starts from $45 per person for canapé selections, with buffets and set menus also available. The Gallery @ Gosford RSL Club and Bay Road Brewing don't publish prices, so request their wedding brochures or a quote.
