About DJ Bass Sick
DJ Bass Sick is Chris Totonjian, a Tumbi Umbi DJ who started out on clarinet and saxophone before moving behind the decks. He has now played more than a thousand gigs, including club residencies at Gosford and Woy Woy hotels, weddings at Magenta Shores and Terrigal resorts, school discos, gym sessions and a grand final crowd at Central Coast Stadium. Private parties are a big part of the work. For an 18th, 21st, 30th or engagement party he sets up at the house or hall, takes requests through an online list and mixes from track to track rather than letting a playlist run. Every booking comes with a compact two-speaker setup and some lighting; you can step up to subwoofers for indoor dance floors or a larger rig for marquees and outdoor spaces, and add lasers, strobes, moving heads, haze or UV. He keeps things clean for school and family events when asked. Weddings follow a simple plan: a quote, a sit-down meeting to go through must-plays, do-not-plays and the formalities, then a personal online planner. On the day he can cover ceremony music, the cocktail hour and the reception, and can take the microphone as MC if you would rather not hand that job to a guest. Quotes usually come back within half an hour of an enquiry, and a deposit locks in the date.

Frequently asked questions
What does a DJ Bass Sick booking include?
Chris plays for the length of your event using his own decks, table, stands and cables, plus a small speaker and lighting package. Bigger sound and lighting packages can be added to suit the venue.
Can our guests request songs?
Yes. You can set must-play and do-not-play songs beforehand, and guests can send requests online during the party while he mixes and watches how the floor responds.
Does he play weddings as well as parties?
He does. Wedding bookings can cover ceremony, cocktail hour and reception music, with an optional MC service, and start with a face-to-face planning meeting.
Will he keep the music clean for a school or family event?
Yes. School discos, formals and family celebrations are part of his regular work, and he can play radio-friendly edits throughout when you ask for it.
How do I secure a date?
Send the event type, date, venue and hours through the quote form. A quote usually arrives within 30 minutes, and paying the $200 deposit confirms the booking.
