About Mane Events
Mane Events is a DJ and MC team based in Lake Macquarie, at Redhead, and it takes Central Coast bookings for weddings, formals, birthdays and corporate nights. Sean started the business in 2012 after years behind the decks in clubs, and he now shares the work with Tom, who also MCs, and DJ Matt. Between them they have played more than 1500 weddings. A wedding booking can cover the whole day rather than just the reception. The DJ looks after ceremony music and the signing, keeps cocktail hour moving, announces the couple, runs the speeches and then opens the dance floor. Couples send a must-play list and a do-not-play list, and sets move from sixties classics through to current chart hits, club tracks, lounge and hip hop. Lighting comes as intelligent club fixtures rather than simple chasers, and lasers, spotlights, mirror balls, bubble machines or a bigger sound system can be added before the quote is finalised. There are also combo packages that add a sax player or a photo booth to the DJ. Wedding DJs wear black trousers and a buttoned shirt, or can dress to a theme on request. Enquire with the date, the venue and the hours you need, and expect a quote inside 48 hours. Paying a $200 deposit locks in the DJ, and if they can stay later, every extra half hour is $50.

Does Mane Events take Central Coast bookings?
Yes. The team runs a dedicated Central Coast wedding DJ service and plays ceremonies, receptions and private parties across the coast.
Can one person handle both the DJ and MC duties?
Yes. Sean and Tom both work as DJ and MC, so a single person can run the music, make the announcements and keep the speeches on time from the ceremony to the farewell.
Do they play events other than weddings?
They do. School formals, birthdays, fashion parades and corporate functions are all part of the calendar, with the music and lighting set up to suit the crowd and the room.
How is a Mane Events booking priced?
Every event is quoted individually after you share the date, venue and hours, usually inside two days. Paying $200 up front confirms the booking, and the balance is settled by bank transfer or cash.
Can the music go past the booked finish time?
If the DJ is free to stay, extra time is charged at $50 for each half hour, paid to the DJ before the overtime begins.
