About Memory Lane Weddings & Events
Memory Lane Weddings & Events is run by Alicia and Nathan, a husband and wife from Green Point who have spent their working lives in hospitality and events. Their signature is Florence, a 1968 Franklin caravan fitted out as a bar, which they tow to lawns, paddocks and backyards for weddings and parties. The bar packages are built around your own drinks. You supply the beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks, and Nathan, the resident mixologist, and the RSA-qualified bar staff serve them from Florence. Packages include set-up and pack-down outside the service time, simple styling for the caravan, glassware, a hydration station with up to two dispensers, a displayed bar menu, ice and a wet weather awning. Cocktail service, lawn games and a picnic chill-out area can be added. On the food side, grazing tables arrive with a wooden trestle, cheese knives, plates and napkins, and are loaded with cheeses, quince paste, cured meats, dips, antipasto, crackers, bread, fresh and dried fruit, pretzels and nuts. Grazing boxes offer the same favourites for easier entertaining, and pop-up picnics seat anything from a date for two to 60 guests on rugs and cushions at low wooden tables. Weddings are the main work, but the pair also cater bridal showers, hens parties, baby showers, birthdays and corporate events. Do you supply the alcohol?
No. Florence is a BYO bar: you provide the beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks, and RSA-qualified bar staff serve them. Nathan can help you work out how much to order.
How much do grazing tables cost?
Grazing tables start from $15 per person and include set-up and pack-down within 25km of Green Point, with a wooden trestle table, cheese knives, utensils, plates and napkins provided.
What do the bar packages cost?
You've Got The Love starts from $2150 for six hours of service, Florence & The Mixologist from $2850, and Never Let Me Go from $6000 with seven hours of service and a weekend coordination package. Extra bar hours are charged by the hour.
How many guests can a picnic cater for?
Pop-up picnics suit anything from a romantic picnic for two up to a group of 60, starting from $250. The Stand By Me package combines a picnic for up to 30 guests with four hours of cocktail service from Florence.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes. Grazing boxes can be customised, and all dietary requirements and special requests can be catered for.
