About Stoic Brewing
Stoic Brewing is a family-owned craft brewery on Rowlins Road in Gerringong, set up by local father and son Steve and Andrew so the town would have a place to share beer brewed right there among the tanks. The brew team makes small batches on site and keeps the tap list moving, from crisp lagers and a German-style pilsner to a dark schwarzbier, a smoked porter and a coffee IPA made with a local roaster. Groups can turn a celebration into a beer experience. Functions are built to order with no hire fee, and the activity add-ons include a tour of the brewery, a guided tasting of the beers, a private paint and sip session and trivia. The Courtyard is an outdoor beer garden for up to 50 guests (28 seated, minimum 25). Upstairs, the Mezzanine takes up to 65 (50 seated, minimum 40), comes with a microphone and TV, shows work from local artists and looks across farmland to the winery next door. For a bigger event, the entire brewery can be booked privately for 80 to 120 people. The brewery takes corporate events, fundraisers, birthdays, bucks and hens parties, engagements and pre-reception drinks. Food is arranged as prepaid packages, event hours are flexible, and music can be live or streamed. The events manager, Rach, handles enquiries by email at enquiries@stoicbrewing.com. The taproom opens Wednesday to Sunday from midday and closes at 7pm or 8pm depending on the day.

Can our group book a brewery tour or beer tasting?
Yes. Brewery tours and guided beer tastings are offered as activity add-ons when you book a function, so they can be built into a birthday, work event or bucks or hens party.
How many people can the brewery host?
The Courtyard holds up to 50 guests (28 seated) with a minimum of 25, the upstairs Mezzanine up to 65 (50 seated) with a minimum of 40, and the whole brewery 80 to 120 people as a private function.
Is there a venue hire fee?
No. Functions are customised packages without a hire charge – you choose prepaid food options, event hours, music and any activity add-ons, and the events manager puts the package together.
What else can we add to a function?
Besides a tour or tasting, groups can add a private paint and sip session or a round of trivia. Music can be live or streamed, and the Mezzanine has its own microphone and TV.
