About Resin Brewing
Resin Brewing is an independent microbrewery and brewpub in Bulli, set up inside the old Bulli Railway Guest House, a building on the train line that dates from 1887 and was restored after years of sitting empty. Beer is brewed on site in small batches on a 1000-litre system using Australian hops, and the tap list is refreshed monthly. Around the old house there are high tables, an indoor bar beside the brewing tanks and a covered outdoor area. The bookable experience is a guided brewery tour. It is relaxed rather than technical: you hear the history of the heritage site, follow the brewing process step by step, and learn how the team keeps each batch consistent. The tour ends with a sit-down tasting session led by the brewer and a paddle of four Resin beers. A burger and chips can be added to be served once the tasting wraps up. Tours need at least four people and run around the brewer's schedule, so enquire with your preferred date, and ask about group rates for larger numbers. The venue suits a group outing that carries on after the tour. Up to 200 guests can be hosted across the site, and parties of 20 or more should email ahead to arrange space. The kitchen serves a seasonal menu built to go with the beer, with gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free and coeliac-friendly options. Resin is open seven days from midday, is card only and wheelchair accessible, and street parking plus the station car park are next door.
