About The Grand Roxy
The Grand Roxy is a dedicated function centre on Level 1 at 128 The Grand Parade, Brighton-Le-Sands, set about 50 metres back from the beach with an unbroken outlook over Botany Bay. The same family has run the seafood restaurant on the ground floor since 1983, and the building hosts weddings, engagements, christenings, corporate events, balls and fundraisers. It is a short drive from Sydney Airport and the Sutherland Shire. There are three rooms. The Captain's Room takes 30 to 50 guests with large tables, a raised VIP table, water views, bluetooth audio, air conditioning and a built-in sound system. The Reef Room holds 60 to 140 and adds a raised stage, dance floor and lighting. The main Grand Roxy room is the largest at 160 to 300 guests, with chandeliers, a big dance floor and the widest bay views, and there is a large outdoor balcony and terrace. Events are run by a dedicated in-house coordinator with formally uniformed wait staff. Food is restaurant-style and cooked by the venue's own chefs, and packages bundle drinks, canapés and multi-course menus. The technology is a strong point: LED and plasma screens for slideshows, PC connectivity, recording of the event and password-protected live streaming for guests who can't attend. An in-house DJ and MC are available, and the team can connect you with photographers, florists, cake makers and entertainment. Pricing is quoted after a consultation at the venue.
