About Sophie B Photography
Sophie B Photography is a photography team based in the Sutherland Shire, led by director and photographer Sophie B, who has more than 12 years of professional experience behind the camera. Much of the business is corporate headshots and brand photography, but events are a big part of its calendar: Christmas parties, award nights, gala dinners, fundraisers and auctions, networking breakfasts, conferences, trade shows, golf days and product launches. Past jobs include the St George Hospital Ball and a charity event for Ronald McDonald House Sydney. Family celebrations are also taken on by arrangement. Sophie previously organised events in tourism, hospitality and the corporate world, and that shows in how the team prepares. It works from your run sheet and VIP list and coordinates with the venue, AV crew, DJ, speakers and entertainers so the key moments are covered, from awards and presentations to the dance floor. Sophie shoots with two Canon R5 cameras and flash, and brings in a second photographer or assistant when a job needs one. If you want images during the night, photos can be moved to a phone and shared on the spot. The corporate event package starts from $950 for two hours at one location, with commercial, print and digital use of the images; two hours is the minimum. Extra retouching of individual images is $110 each. For most events a first batch of edited photos is ready to download the next morning, with the rest delivered within seven days through a private online gallery, or on USB if preferred. The wider team includes videographers and a content creator, so basic video and social content can be discussed too.
