About Vibe Party Co
Vibe Party Co is a Sydney photo booth and video guestbook business run by Chris Tong, working across Greater Sydney from a base in North Parramatta. It covers birthdays, engagements, weddings, school formals, graduations, Christmas parties and corporate events, and it has a props range designed for Chinese weddings as well. There are six photo booth styles. The classic booth is an open-air set-up with prints and props, and the digital-only version skips paper for instant sharing. The high-angle booth photographs guests from above in the Korean style, the roaming booth is a photographer who moves through the crowd, and the enclosed booth has a curtain for more private shots. The drop-off booth is self-serve, with no attendant, props or prints, and runs until 11pm. Every package includes a professional camera, as many sessions as guests want, photos sent straight to phones and an online gallery kept private for you after the event, and most include GIFs and a choice of filters. Backdrops range from a flower wall and ivory drape to sequins, fairy lights and printed designs. Video guestbooks are the other half of the business: a premium booth with two wireless microphones, plus retro, vertical and vintage-phone versions where guests leave spoken messages, compiled into one video afterwards. A same-day edit, photography, videography and extras such as keychains and mini strips can be added. A signed agreement and a 50 percent deposit secure the date, and the balance is due 14 days before the event.

How much does photo booth hire cost?
The drop-off booth starts from $800 for five hours, the digital-only booth from $850 and the classic booth from $900 for three hours, the high-angle booth from $1,200, the roaming booth from $1,300 and the enclosed booth from $2,000 for five hours. Extra time ranges from $120 to $200 an hour depending on the booth.
What is a video guestbook?
It's a station where guests record video or audio messages during the event, which are compiled and sent to you afterwards. Vibe offers a premium version with two wireless mics from $850 for three hours, and retro, vertical and vintage-phone versions from $550 to $650 for eight hours.
What's included with every photo booth?
Each booth comes with a professional camera set-up, as many sessions as guests want, photos sent straight to phones and an online gallery kept private for you after the event. Attended booths also include premium props, GIFs and a choice of filters, and attendants arrive early to set up.
How do bookings and payments work?
A booking is confirmed once you sign the service agreement and pay a 50 percent deposit, with the balance due 14 days before the event. Cancel 90 or more days ahead and the deposit comes back in full; within 90 days it can be used as credit for a new date within 12 months.
Are there any extra fees on the night?
Services finish at midnight unless agreed, and running past midnight adds a $300 late fee. The drop-off booth has a $100 an hour late fee after 11pm. If the venue isn't on the ground floor and has no lift, a flat $100 labour fee applies for carrying equipment up the stairs.
