About Master of Ceremonies Sydney
Master of Ceremonies Sydney is Scott Phillips, an MC, marriage celebrant and keynote speaker based in Sydney's north-west, working with his partner Keira on planning and organisation. Scott hosts wedding receptions, corporate functions and charity events, and he also offers coaching for anyone with a speech to give. His aim is an event that runs smoothly and feels relaxed, with plenty of humour along the way, and couples often mention how much his help with vows and bridal-party speeches made a difference on the day. On the corporate side, Scott has worked supplier functions, Christmas parties and trade shows, and he pitches himself as an MC who understands business: someone who can represent a company in front of its customers, keep the program tight and make sure guests leave informed and entertained. Charity work matters to him too. He has emceed fundraisers for The Laughing Factory's Stop the Traffick dinner, a Bad Boys of NRL event and My Name's Not Cancer, It's Norma, and co-hosted KidsOfOz. For weddings, Scott can be both celebrant and MC. The top package covers a fully personalised ceremony plus reception hosting, where he guides guests, supports the other suppliers and sets the tone through the night. He has worked across Sydney and in the Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley, Hawkesbury, Newcastle and Canberra, and has twice hosted the main stage at Melbourne's EID Festival.
