About RoseL Facepaint
RoseL Facepaint is the business of Rose, a face painter working out of Surry Hills. She trained in Art and Design at UNSW and has worked as an art teacher and designer in several countries before turning that skill to faces. Her gallery runs from soft floral eye designs and princess crowns to superheroes, whales, black swans and full Halloween sugar skulls, and she paints adults as well as children. Paints are professional TAG products that are hypoallergenic, non-toxic and FDA approved. Rose holds a Working With Children Check, carries insurance and runs under a registered ABN. Beyond face painting, a booking can include glitter tattoos, balloon twisting, hair glitter and colour, and mini manicures, priced to suit the number of children. There is also a K-Pop Demon Hunters themed package with gems, glitter and a hair-extension look for the birthday girl, offered for small groups of up to ten kids. A face-painting-only booking runs for a minimum of 1.5 hours and suits about 15 children. For festivals, school events, community days and corporate family days, Rose can bring in a team of experienced artists. Her corporate work includes painting underground for workers' families at the Sydney Metro Eastern Tunnelling Package site. Bookings are taken by text message or email; include the date, time, location and rough number of children so she can confirm price and availability. Special dates such as Halloween, Christmas and Easter can attract a higher rate.

Frequently asked questions
How much does RoseL Facepaint charge for a kids party?
The smallest face-painting booking is 1.5 hours for $270, which covers roughly 15 children. Extra services and larger groups are quoted on the number of kids attending.
What happens if more children turn up than expected?
Rose will try to fit in one or two extra children within the booked time at $10 each. If numbers are well over the estimate, not every child can be guaranteed a design unless extra time is arranged.
Are the face paints safe for sensitive skin?
Rose uses professional TAG face paints that are hypoallergenic, non-toxic and FDA approved. Parents should still tell her about any allergies or skin conditions before painting starts.
Can RoseL Facepaint do balloon twisting as well?
Yes. Balloon twisting is one of the add-on services, along with glitter tattoos, hair glitter and colour, and mini manicures. Pricing depends on the number of children.
How do I book RoseL Facepaint?
Bookings are taken only by text message to 0432 140 844 or by email. A quote needs the party date and start time, the suburb, and a rough head count of kids.
