About The Ultimate Occasion
The Ultimate Occasion is a Western Sydney event styling business run by founders Adam and Katharine, working from a studio in Penrith. It calls itself a creative event and activation specialist, and its in-house team handles concepts, colour choices, graphics and stationery, balloon work, flowers and hand-built props, so a single booking can take in the whole look of a party. Private events are a core part of the work. The team styles baby showers, bridal showers, engagements, birthdays, christenings and weddings, and its gallery shows 18th and 30th birthdays with giant letters and balloon walls, baby showers with shaped backdrops and sunflower installations, and engagement tables with lit neon signs. Styling can combine custom props, balloon designs, fresh flowers, neons, printed signage and table styling. After the first consultation you receive a digital mock-up of the concept, which lets you see the design and adjust it before the day. Corporate clients book the team for product launches, gala dinners, conferences, award ceremonies, charity events and team days, as well as brand activations, pop-up shops and shopping centre displays. A range of ready-made items is also available to hire. Quotes are prepared for each event, a 20 per cent non-refundable deposit secures the date and the balance is due two weeks before. Extra fees can apply for stairs or lifts, large orders needing more staff or vehicles, and pack-downs after 6pm. Office hours run Monday to Friday, with the team out styling events on weekends.

How do deposits and payments work?
A 20 per cent non-refundable deposit is due within five days of receiving your invoice to hold the date, and the final balance is due at least two weeks before the event.
Are there extra charges for set-up?
Additional fees can apply if items must go up stairs, in lifts or down a steep path, if a large order needs extra staff or vehicles, or if pack-down happens after 6pm.
