About TM Events
TM Events, also known as Taj Mahal Events, is a decorating and event design company that has been working in Sydney since 2006, with a showroom in Belmore where consultations are held by appointment. It is known for large, colourful setups for South Asian, Middle Eastern and Turkish celebrations, and also styles birthdays, community functions and corporate nights. Outside Sydney it travels to Canberra, Wollongong and Newcastle, and further for larger events at extra cost. The decor is the heart of every booking: stage design, centrepieces, ceiling installations and chandeliers, dressed entrances, mandaps, fresh flowers, indoor and outdoor lighting, signage and prop hire, plus partitions for segregated events. Pre-wedding celebrations are a strength, from engagements and bridal showers to Nikkah, Mehendi, Haldi, Mayoun, Sangeet, Pithi, Haloud and Kina Gecesi nights, with dholki, trays and flower partitions available. Birthday work includes 50ths and 60ths, surprise parties and themed first birthdays such as Aladdin, jungle and princess, with balloon arches and cake table styling. Community and corporate events have included a charity iftar dinner, a multicultural fundraiser, a book launch, a masquerade ball and a Sufi music tribute night, and the team has also done graduation dinners, housewarmings and pooja setups. Around the styling it can arrange DJs, dhol players, dancers, MCs, celebrants, fireworks, smoke machines, cars and party hire such as tables, marquees and dance floors, and it gives venue advice. The team never takes two events on the same date. Pricing is quoted per event based on size, type, venue and guest count, and weekends book out early.
