Style Me Weddings & Events is a styling business run from a showroom on Woodville Road in Villawood, in Sydney's west. It was founded by Angelina, who leads the creative side and works through concepts and designs with each couple or client, and Rachel, who looks after logistics, the team's schedule and the bookings with other suppliers so the setup on the day runs to plan. Weddings make up most of the work, and the business also takes on corporate events. The signature pieces are full-size artificial trees, mostly white and pink blossom, which can stand beside the bridal table, over guest tables or at the edge of the dance floor. Around them the team builds the rest of the room: long bridal tables edged with roses and trailing greenery, tall floral and crystal centrepieces, clusters of pillar candles, hanging ceiling installations of wisteria and fairy lights, and ceremony arches in palettes ranging from classic white to deep red and green or a blue coastal theme with oversized shells. Centrepieces can also be hired on their own if you only need table pieces. Past weddings have taken in Ivy Ballroom in the city, Doltone House at Darling Island Wharf and Sylvania Waters, Le Montage at Lilyfield, Barluck Seafood Restaurant, and a garden ceremony at the Auburn Botanic Gardens. The usual first step is a complimentary appointment at the Villawood showroom, where you can see the trees, arches and centrepieces up close before deciding on a design. Separate enquiry forms cover weddings and hire or event bookings, asking for the date, the ceremony and reception venues, and which pieces you are interested in.
