About Picnic and Love
Picnic and Love is a Sydney business that styles indoor and outdoor picnics as well as venue and table setups. Its customers book it for birthdays, baby showers, gender reveals, christenings, engagements and proposals, hens parties, anniversaries, catch-ups with friends and work functions. You choose the spot, whether that is a park, a beach, a garden or your own backyard, and the team brings everything, sets it up and takes it away again, with cleaning included. There are four setups to choose from. Standard is a relaxed layout of rugs and cushions. Classic adds a low picnic table with soft cushions, or high tables and chairs, along with a coloured runner, flowers, placemats, a wooden board, dinner plates, cutlery, glassware and fabric napkins. Deluxe keeps all of that and themes the decorations around your brief, while Premium adds a separate food and drink station so guests can sit or wander. Favourite settings run from Observatory Hill and Milsons Point on the harbour to Centennial Park, Rushcutters Bay, Balmain, Balmoral Beach and the beaches of the east. Most casual picnics run for two to three hours, and more time can be added. Extras include catering, fresh flowers, balloon decorations, lawn games, photography and video, live music or a DJ, classical musicians, face painting, party entertainers, waitstaff, a chauffeur and even a dog party. If you would rather do it yourself, tables, cushions and rugs can be hired and picked up from Kingsford. Every booking is quoted to suit the occasion and group size.

What comes with a Picnic and Love setup?
Depending on the style, a setup includes picnic tables, rugs and cushions, plates, cutlery and glasses, themed decor, flowers and napkins. The styled packages cover delivery, set-up, pack-down and cleaning.
Where can the picnic be set up?
Anywhere you choose, indoors or out. Common spots include Lavender Bay, Centennial Park, Blues Point Reserve, Balmoral Beach and Balmain, or your own yard. Ask if you are unsure your area is covered.
How long does a picnic last?
A relaxed picnic usually runs for two to three hours, depending on the occasion, the group and what you have planned. Extra hours can be bought if you want longer.
How do I book and pay?
Choose a style, location and date and get a quote. A $100 deposit holds the date, a 50 per cent payment confirms the booking and the rest is due one week before the event.
What happens if it rains?
You can move to another date or time, have the setup moved to an indoor space you can use, or put what you have paid toward a later booking. Extra charges may apply, and wet weather alone does not bring a refund.
