About Paramount DJs
Paramount DJs is a Sydney DJ hire business run by DJ Adam K, operating out of West Hoxton in the city's south-west. Adam plays an open-format mix of hip hop, R&B, house and electronic music alongside older crowd-pleasers spanning the 1970s to the 2000s, and the wider team includes both male and female DJs. Songs can be requested on the night, and the music is planned with each client beforehand around their must-play tracks and the feel they want. Pricing is published by the hour across two tiers. Silver gives you a standard party sound system and party lighting, while Premium steps up to larger speakers, six to eight intelligent lighting fixtures, a stronger smoke effect and better microphones. A saxophonist or percussionist can be added to either tier for an extra $150 an hour, which suits engagement parties and work functions that want a live element without hiring a full band. Bookings usually need a deposit of about $200, and there is no fixed minimum lead time, so short-notice dates can work if a DJ is free. Beyond DJ hire, Paramount DJs can arrange singers, live bands and photo booths, and it provides MC support when formalities need running. The team works birthdays, engagement parties, school formals and school discos, corporate functions, end-of-year and Christmas parties and weddings. Its regular area takes in Western Sydney, the Hills District, the North Shore and Northern Beaches, the CBD, the Inner West, the Eastern Suburbs and the Sutherland Shire, and events further afield in New South Wales or the ACT can be quoted case by case.
