About Yume Sushi
Yume Sushi is a Japanese fusion sushi kitchen in Drummoyne that began as a takeaway shop in the Imperial Arcade in the Sydney CBD. The name is the Japanese word for dream, and the menu leans towards lighter eating, with brown rice available across the rolls. Beyond lunch and dinner service, the team caters home parties, birthdays, office lunches, corporate functions and school events. Catering centres on seven set platters. The kids' platter is built for five to ten children, with baby rolls, fried chicken pieces, crumbed prawns and cabbage salad. The rest serve three or four people each: a vegetable platter with inari and vegetarian rolls, a sushi roll platter, the Dream and Yume platters that mix rolls with nigiri and sashimi, a seafood-heavy Monger platter and a Salmon Lovers platter with aburi and salmon rolls. Any platter can be made gluten-free for a small surcharge, and the kitchen will quote on custom platters if you have something else in mind. For a bigger occasion, Yume can send a sushi chef with all the equipment to make sushi fresh at your home, office or outdoor event, or run a sushi-making class so guests roll their own. The team has run a chef-led class at a university event. Orders of one or two platters need two hours' notice, larger orders should be booked ahead, and delivery covers the local area and the Sydney CBD for a fee.

How much do the sushi platters cost?
The kids' platter for five to ten children is $65. Platters for three or four adults range from $75 for the vegetable platter to $95 for the seafood and salmon selections.
How much notice do you need?
Allow two hours for an order of one or two platters. For larger parties and events, place the order well in advance so the kitchen can plan.
Can Yume send a sushi chef to our event?
Yes. A chef can come with all the equipment to make fresh sushi at your home, office or outdoor event, or lead a sushi-making class for the guests.
Do you offer gluten-free sushi?
Yes. Any platter can be made gluten-free for an extra $5, using gluten-free ingredients and supplied with gluten-free soy sauce.
Where do you deliver?
Platters are delivered around the Drummoyne area and to the Sydney CBD, with a delivery charge added. Orders can also be collected from the shop.
