About Sette Posta Catering
Sette Posta Catering is a Redfern kitchen and cafe that sends platters and finger food out to Sydney workplaces and events. Most of its trade is office food, from breakfast and morning tea through to lunches, conferences and annual company parties, but the same menu works for a birthday or family gathering, and the team says it has catered weddings and funerals too. Orders can be placed online, by email or over the phone. The platter range covers sushi and deluxe sushi, seasonal fruit, cheese and fruit, mezze, antipasti and a mixed Aussie Delight board, plus a bite-sized sweets platter. Sandwiches come as mixed deluxe, finger or triangle points, with a gluten-free option and brioche sliders. Salads include Thai beef, salmon and glass noodle, tuna pasta, roast vegetable with couscous and classic coleslaw. Finger food is sold by the piece, such as satay chicken sticks, prosciutto grissini, haloumi and zucchini fritters and chicken strips in roti, and there are breakfast packages, croissant bites and cocktail scones for morning tea. Drinks are non-alcoholic only, from bottled water to juice. Platters for vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free guests are made in house, dietary and allergy items are boxed and labelled separately, and halal meals can be requested in the order notes. Custom platters can be made for anything off the menu. Orders placed by 1 pm are ready for delivery the next day, and last-minute jobs are taken where possible for a surcharge. Delivery is free within 8 km of Redfern, with small fees out to 20 km, and orders can also be collected from the kitchen.
