Birthday Party Venues in Caringbah

Choosing the Right Birthday Party Venue

Whether it's a small family lunch, a pub party or a 21st with a DJ, Caringbah's birthday venues cover it between President Avenue, Port Hacking Road and MacKay Street.

Pick the birthday's style, then the venue:

A pub birthday in any weather: Caringbah Hotel's beer garden on Port Hacking Road has a retractable roof with heating and cooling, and holds up to 65 for a cocktail party.
A small gathering: the hotel's Lounge beside the bistro takes up to 30, with easy wheelchair and pram access.
A 21st or 30th with a DJ: Highfield Caringbah has a Saturday-night DJ out on the Terrace, and joining the Garden Room, Private Dining Room and balcony makes space for up to 120 standing; canapés are priced from $30 per person.
A seafood celebration: Lively Catch on President Avenue runs functions for 50 to 100 in its dining room, with three-course party menus from $80 per person.
A family milestone with a cake: Lively Catch welcomes cakes for a small per-person charge and has dressed the room with balloons and flowers.

Lively Catch is about five minutes' walk from Caringbah station and lets you bring bottled wine for corkage, while the hotel has accommodation upstairs for guests who would rather stay the night.

Hanging plants and a greenery wall strung with fairy lights dress the Garden Room, which takes 60 to 80 for cocktails or 45 to 60 seated.
The Private Dining Room comes with its own balcony and holds 40 to 60 standing or 20 to 35 seated.
On a cooler night the Fireplace and Lounge Bar off the Terrace suits 30 to 40.
Kids' canapé platters are available for family birthdays, though the packaged drinks are 18-plus only.

Food and drink planning

Lively Catch has you choose four entrees, four mains and four desserts beforehand, and guests order from that shortlist on the day, after garlic bread.
The bill at Lively Catch isn't split, and card payments carry a 1% surcharge.
In the Caringbah Hotel beer garden, run a drinks tab or let guests buy their own; a pop-up bar can be set up, and a live band plays on Saturday nights.
A whole suckling pig can be carved at the party by Highfield's kitchen team, and three-hour drinks packages cover house beer and wine or a premium list.
