About Easeland
Easeland is a big, uncomplicated party platform: a 22-metre catamaran with two full decks, surveyed for up to 140 guests plus crew. She is run by Easeland Charter Cruising and berths at Cockatoo Island Marina, in the middle of Sydney Harbour, so she reaches the city wharves and the eastern bays with little travel time. The twin hulls keep her steady, which matters when a crowd this size is up and moving. The lower deck is the flexible one. Set it with seating, leave it open for a cocktail crowd, or clear a patch for dancing under the disco and mood lighting. A karaoke system with two microphones is part of the hire, there are five TV monitors spread over both levels, and a 65-inch touch-screen panel turns the space into a floating meeting room for company days. Upstairs, the open-air top deck gives guests harbour views in every direction, and Bluetooth speakers run through both levels. What really sets Easeland apart is the ramp in her bow. Instead of anchoring off and swimming in, the skipper can nose onto the sand and let everyone walk ashore, with Store Beach, Collins Beach, Athol Beach and Watsons Bay among the landing spots. Swimming is allowed too. Food and drinks can be BYO, or guests can buy from the licensed bar, and a six-burner BBQ, oven and microwave are on hand for cooking and reheating. It suits large birthdays, bucks and hens groups, Christmas parties and corporate cruises that need space more than polish.

Frequently asked questions
How many guests fit on Easeland?
Easeland is licensed for up to 140 guests plus five crew, spread across an enclosed lower deck and an open top deck. It is set up for cocktail-style parties rather than formal seated dining.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Yes. BYO food and drinks are allowed as long as there is enough food on board for the group. Spirits must come as pre-mixed cans or bottles, not straight bottles, and you need to bring your own ice and disposable plates, cups and cutlery. A licensed bar is also available.
What is the beach-landing ramp?
Easeland has a ramp built into her bow, so the skipper can pull up to a beach and guests can walk straight onto the sand without a wharf. Store Beach, Collins Beach, Athol Beach and Watsons Bay are among the options; talk to the crew about which suits your day and the weather.
Where does Easeland pick up, and can we load early?
The boat is based at Cockatoo Island Marina. Early access to load food and decorations costs $200 and gives you 30 to 60 minutes before departure, subject to availability, usually at Cockatoo Island; Birkenhead Point or Casino Wharf can be arranged with wharf fees added.
How much does Easeland cost?
Easeland is listed from $850 per hour, with a standard charter of four hours. A 20 per cent deposit secures the date and the balance is due two weeks before the cruise. Confirm the final rate for your date when you enquire.
Is there entertainment and AV on board?
Karaoke with two microphones is included, along with a Bluetooth sound system on both decks, disco and mood lighting, five TVs and a 65-inch touch-screen panel. You are welcome to bring your own DJ.
