About Belle

Belle is a 30-metre superyacht built by the Dutch yard Moonen and run by Belle Charters from Mosman. She follows the seasons along the east coast, spending November to May on Sydney Harbour and Pittwater, May to August on the Gold Coast and in Brisbane, and August to November in the Whitsundays. Belle Charters says she is the only superyacht in Australia running on renewable diesel, and the crew keeps single-use plastics to a minimum. Day charters take up to 36 guests across three open decks. The sun deck has a teppanyaki hotplate, a charcoal grill, a fully set-up bar, sun lounges and a long dining table, the aft deck has a shaded lounge that seats ten, and a hydraulic swim platform gives direct access to the water, with tenders and water toys on board. Inside, the saloon has sofas and timber finishes, a formal dining room seats ten, and four ensuite staterooms sleep up to ten guests overnight. A crew of five, including a private chef, runs each charter. Menus lean on Australian produce and local seafood, with brunch canapés, roaming canapé tiers, substantial plates and bespoke tasting menus, all adjustable for dietary needs with notice. Catering, drinks, wait staff and wharf visits are quoted on top of the hourly vessel rate. On Sydney Harbour a charter might take in Fort Denison, Shark Island and the eastern bays, while Pittwater days head for Scotland Island, The Basin and the national park coves.

Belle Charters publishes an hourly day rate of $2,950 for up to 36 guests on Sydney Harbour and Pittwater, with a four-hour minimum. The rate covers the vessel, GST, fuel within the region and the deck crew; wait staff are charged per four hours at one per ten guests, and catering, drinks and wharf fees are added to the quote. Overnight and longer term charters are priced separately.

Food

Belle's private chef builds menus around Australian produce and local seafood. Options include brunch canapés in the morning, tiered roaming canapé menus, substantial plates and bespoke tasting menus, with a minimum of 20 guests for the canapé packages. Selections are locked in two weeks before the charter.

Beverages

The sun deck bar and a curated cellar serve the beverage packages, which are quoted together with the catering. Wine, champagne and cocktails are arranged with the crew before the day.

Wharfs & Availability

Belle operates on Sydney Harbour and Pittwater from November to May, with a $50 fee for each wharf visit. Day charters run for at least four hours, and the crew plans the route, whether that is the Opera House and Shark Island or Pittwater's Scotland Island and The Basin.
