About Spicy Margaritas
Spicy Margaritas is a Sydney live music outfit with more than 15 years of experience playing weddings, anniversaries, corporate events and private functions. The musicians are young and energetic, and the band describes itself as party starters whose job is to keep the dance floor full. Line-ups are flexible. Tiana, the band's piano-vocalist, performs solo for relaxed background music during dinner, and an acoustic duo of guitarist and female singer suits cocktail events and smaller spaces, starting chilled and building into lively sets. Bigger line-ups bring in male and female singers with drums, bass and guitar, plus keys, sax, a brass section or violin. The repertoire covers old school classics, rock and roll, the 70s, 80s and 90s, Havana Nights, R&B and current Top 40, and clients can choose songs or leave the set list to the band. For corporate clients the band covers conferences, gala dinners, awards nights, launches and end-of-year Christmas parties, either as background music or as the main entertainment. Private events range from backyard parties to black-tie celebrations. Each booking is managed by one of the band's event specialists, who stays in contact throughout, arranges scheduling and song choices, and works with the MC and venue on the night. Pricing is quoted to suit the line-up and event.
