About Lovers Lane Weddings & Events
Lovers Lane Weddings & Events is a boutique studio founded in 2022 by creative director Mardi Sullivan, who comes from interior design. Its main warehouse sits in Hamilton North, Newcastle, and from there the team supplies venues across the city and around Lake Macquarie. Couples planning their own styling can hire the same pieces the studio uses for its own weddings, and the overall feel is gentle and romantic, built on ivory satin, ruffled linen, taper candles and sculptural ceramics. On the furniture side there is a tiered round table plus a pair of service bars, in ecru ivory and forest green, that can serve drinks or hold desserts and grazing boards. For the tables, think plates, glasses, silverware, cake stands and linen. Styling pieces run to fabric draping, plinths, display props, wishing wells, sets for the signing table and a welcome sign framed in a gold vintage mirror. A champagne tower comes complete with its own table. Mardi's husband Tom runs the warehouse and builds some pieces by hand. Delivery and pick-up are charged by the kilometre from Hamilton North, which keeps costs low for Newcastle venues. You can also collect from the warehouse on a Thursday and drop items back on the Tuesday. For couples who would rather not style the day themselves, the studio offers design and styling, with its stylist and helpers at the venue for as long as ten hours, and partial planning that adds vendor management and coordination on the day. Planning clients receive the tabletop styling collection and a reduced rate on extra hire. The team also delivers to the Hunter Valley.

No. Prices are shown before GST unless the studio states otherwise in writing, so the tiered round table at $170 comes to $187 once GST is added.
Can we pick the items up from the warehouse?
Yes. Self-collection is from Hamilton North on a Thursday, with items back on the Tuesday. Items must fit inside your vehicle, or a ute needs proper covers and tie-downs.
Will the team style the reception for us?
Yes. The styling service brings a lead stylist and helpers for as long as ten hours, while partial planning also covers supplier management, the run sheet and coordinating the day.
