About Creative Events Hire & Weddings
Creative Events Hire & Weddings is Renee's styling and hire business, run from a showroom at Speers Point at the northern end of Lake Macquarie. Weddings are the main work, across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Port Stephens, with Hunter Valley venues covered for centrepieces and backdrops. You can visit the showroom by appointment at a time that suits, and Renee will dress a sample table so you can see how the pieces look together. For a ceremony on the beach, in a park or at a reception venue, the range takes in white or rustic arbours, white ceremony chairs, easels, lanterns, a signing table and runners for the aisle. The team can deliver and set out the whole ceremony space, so you arrive to it ready. At the reception, choose centrepieces in an elegant, vintage, rustic or floral style and pair them with chair covers and sashes in a wide range of colours. Wishing wells, ladders, fairy lights, runners for the tables, cake toppers, bomboniere, vintage pieces and a lolly buffet round out the styling. The Indulgence backdrop, strung with fairy lights, sits behind the bridal table and gives the photos a soft glow, in 2.7 metre, 5.4 metre or approximately 8 metre lengths. Renee also runs a boutique floristry service, with bridal and bridesmaid bouquets in fresh or silk flowers and arrangements for other events, so florals and hire can be booked together. Yes. The business doubles as a boutique florist, so bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids can be made in fresh or silk flowers, along with flowers for other functions.
