About Crittenden Wines
Crittenden Wines is a family-owned winery on Harrisons Road in Dromana, at the foot of Red Hill on the Mornington Peninsula. The estate runs a cellar door, a restaurant and a lake ringed by vines and willows. The restaurant is where group celebrations happen. Its indoor dining room opens onto a covered deck, and both look out over the lake, so a long lunch here comes with a view of the water and the vineyard. Groups of more than eight sit down to the shared set menu at $110 per person. The menu is modern Australian and changes with the produce the kitchen can source locally, so the dishes on the day may differ from the sample shown. The wine list leans on the estate's own cool-climate bottles, from Pinot Noir to Chardonnay. Many guests start with a tasting at the cellar door before moving across to the table. Weddings use the whole setting: a ceremony beside the lake followed by a reception in the restaurant, which looks across the vineyard. Packages are flexible and shaped around each couple's plans.
