About Boothalicious
Boothalicious is a photo booth hire company started by Luke, who spent a decade photographing weddings, and later joined by Ed, an editorial photographer and videographer. Their booths are built by hand in Melbourne, and every one uses a professional camera body and studio strobes rather than a webcam, so the results look closer to a portrait session than a novelty strip. There are three main booths with published prices. Lucida is an open booth with no walls, room for up to 25 people and a backdrop of your choice, needing about 2m x 2m (or as little as 1.5m x 1.5m). Lucida Lux uses the same setup with beauty lighting and a tighter crop for up to eight people. Futura Lux is a brushed-aluminium vintage booth with a curtain and a seat, fitting up to 12 inside a 1.3m x 860mm footprint, and it runs itself without an attendant. An AI booth, a trading card booth and a branded version of the vintage booth are also available. Every package includes unlimited sessions and prints, a print in hand roughly 12 seconds after each pose, sharing by QR code or email on the spot, animated GIFs from multi-pose layouts, props, a custom strip designed with you and the full digital gallery. Each frame is finished by a person in a warm colour style called Portofino or a black-and-white style called Noir. Delivery and setup within 25 km are free and happen before guests arrive, so they never eat into hire time. The team carries $20 million public liability and WorkCover and talks to the venue directly. A 50% deposit holds the date, with the balance due six weeks before the event.

Frequently asked questions
Which Boothalicious booth suits a big group?
Lucida, the open booth, has no walls and fits up to 25 people. It needs about 2m x 2m, and can squeeze into 1.5m x 1.5m if the venue is tight.
Does someone stay with the vintage booth?
No. Futura Lux is enclosed with a curtain and runs itself, so guests just step in and press the button. The team sets it up before guests arrive and packs it down afterwards.
Are prints limited?
No. Every package includes unlimited sessions and prints with no per-print charge, so if eight people are in a photo, all eight can take a print home.
What happens to the photos after the event?
Guests can grab their shots by QR code or email on the night, and you receive the full digital gallery afterwards, with every frame edited by hand in colour or black and white.
How do I lock in a date?
Send your date, suburb or venue, rough guest count and occasion for a quote. Paying half as a deposit holds the booking, with the remainder payable six weeks ahead of the event.
