About Melbourne Golf Park Mini Golf
Melbourne Golf Park sits at 23 Aughtie Drive in Albert Park, next to MSAC at the north end of the Albert Park Lake parkland, and alongside its driving range it runs two 18-hole mini golf courses. The Lake Course is all green grass and landscaped garden beds, with a waterfall and a nod to Albert Park Lake. The Outback Course swaps that for rust-coloured fairways, a billabong and an old windmill. Every hole is floodlit, the courses are open seven days, and groups of fewer than ten don't need to book. For birthdays, team outings and end-of-year drinks, the mini golf function package is the simplest way to bring a crowd. It covers 90 minutes on the course, all the equipment, a reserved indoor function area and up to three drinks a head, alcoholic or not. Food comes as a spread of rustic pizzas in five varieties, including Hawaiian, salami and margherita, served as a light bite, with gluten-free and dairy-free options on request. Packages suit 10 to 80 guests and start at $65 a person, with a $650 minimum spend. Kids birthdays get their own deal: exclusive use of the Outback Course for up to 90 minutes, with 15 minutes either side to set up and pack down, picnic tables, deck seating and all the gear, for $500 covering up to 40 children. Parents can bring their own food, have it delivered or order through reception on the day. Children under 12 need an adult with them on the course. There is a permit car park off Aughtie Drive, and trams 96 and 12 stop nearby.
