About JCAU Events
JCAU Events is a Melbourne event design house led by Caroline and John, a husband-and-wife team who started out by styling their own wedding. They style weddings, gala dinners, product launches and private celebrations, with floral work, props, stationery and signage all made in-house. Every booking starts with a consultation with the head stylist, followed by mood boards and refined concepts so the flowers, furniture, signage and stationery work as one look rather than a collection of separate ideas. The team then delivers, installs and styles the venue, and packs everything down at the end so you do not have to stay behind collecting items. Private clients can book styling for birthdays, engagements, baby showers, bridal showers, cocktail parties and dances. Corporate clients can book it for launches, staff recognition nights, Christmas parties, conferences and team events, with directors on site during bump-in and a focus on efficient set-up, including feature ceiling installations. Styling is offered as full packages rather than single hire items. Three levels are published: Curated Sets, Co-Design and Couture, each with a recommended minimum spend. What styling packages does JCAU Events offer?
There are three packages: Curated Sets with a recommended minimum spend of $10,000, Co-Design from $20,000 and Couture from $30,000. Bespoke designs sit in the Co-Design and Couture levels.
Can I hire individual decor items for a DIY party?
No. The team only provides full styling packages and does not offer DIY hire items, so your enquiry should describe the whole event you want styled.
What is included in the styling service?
The team designs the look, arranges the flowers and props, creates custom signage and stationery, delivers and sets everything up, then packs it all down at the end of the event.
Which kinds of events do they style?
Weddings, engagements, birthdays, baby and bridal showers, balls, product launches, gala dinners, staff recognition nights, conferences and corporate Christmas parties are all listed on the site.
How far ahead should I book?
The team suggests six to twelve months ahead for weddings and two to six months for corporate and private events, though they will look at shorter timeframes on request.
