About Forever Yours Flowers & Event Planning
Forever Yours Flowers & Event Planning is a Melbourne studio that designs artificial flowers for weddings and other celebrations. Its head designer, Beryl, is a textile artist who also plans and styles weddings. The studio works in three kinds of artificial flower. Silk flowers are light and come in a wide range of colours, real touch flowers are moulded from foam to look and feel like fresh petals, and leather roses are handmade in the studio. Flowers can be hand-painted to match a client's colour swatch, and each new design is named after the person it was made for. The range covers bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, flower crowns, buttonholes, corsages, ceremony pieces, reception centrepieces and wedding cake flowers, with arches and flower walls quoted on request. Some event decorations can be hired, such as green foliage table runners finished with silk peonies, roses and orchids. Bridal party flowers are made to keep rather than hire, and orders are sent out up to two weeks before the event. Couples who want more than flowers can book planning help, from hourly sessions in the studio or on Zoom to ceremony or reception planning and vendor sourcing. What is the difference between silk and real touch flowers?
Silk flowers are light, colourful and easy to carry. Real touch flowers are moulded from polyurethane foam so they look and feel close to fresh petals, and both can be hand-painted to suit a colour scheme.
Can the flowers match our colours exactly?
Yes. Bring or send a colour swatch and the studio hand-paints the flowers to match it, which also helps them look more natural in photos.
Can we hire flowers rather than buy them?
Some event decorations, such as table runners and reception arrangements, are available for hire. Bouquets, buttonholes and other bridal party flowers are made to order and kept by the couple.
Do they help with wedding planning too?
Yes. Options include hourly consultations at $150 an hour, ceremony planning from $997, reception planning from $1597 and on-the-day coordination from $997 for three hours, plus travel.
How are the flowers delivered?
Orders are posted up to two weeks before the wedding or event, so the flowers are ready well ahead of the day. Shipping within Victoria is charged per box.
