Amethyst Wedding & Event Decor is an event styling and décor hire business based in Mount Waverley. It styles weddings and engagements, birthdays and anniversaries, baby showers and christenings, corporate events and launches, university balls and graduation dinners, and seasonal celebrations. The service can be as full or as light as you need. Full styling starts with a consultation, concept and mood boards, then a styling plan, set-up before guests arrive and a quiet pack-down afterwards. A styling consultation on its own suits hosts who want design direction but will set up themselves, and on-the-day coordination is also offered. The hire range is large. There are gold halo, ripple, truss and heart-shaped arches with silk florals, round gloss walls and shimmer backdrops, bridal stages and lounges, plinths and cake tables, candelabra and floral centrepieces, carpet runners and pew florals, and custom welcome signs and seating charts. The team also installs ceiling décor such as floral ceilings, draping and chandeliers, planned around the venue's structure. Ready-styled packages cover ceremonies, receptions, grooms' and bridal rooms, birthdays and corporate galas, and can be changed to suit a colour theme. Service Details
Ready-made packages cover ceremonies, receptions, bridal and grooms' rooms, birthdays and corporate galas. A 50% deposit and a $100–$500 bond apply.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a minimum spend?
Yes. Every order must reach at least $500 including GST, with the delivery fee charged on top. Quotes are valid for 14 days, and a 50% deposit confirms the booking.
What is in the Basic Ceremony Package?
For $850 it includes a two-metre gold halo arch with white and green or dusty pink florals, ten sets of three flickering LED candles and a 10 m white carpet runner for the aisle.
Can I pick the décor up myself?
Yes. Do-it-yourself hire items can be collected after 3 pm the day before the event and are due back by midday the day after, with a refundable bond and photo ID required at pick-up.
Do you style events other than weddings?
Yes. The team styles birthdays and anniversaries, baby showers and christenings, corporate events and launches, university balls, graduation dinners and seasonal celebrations as well as weddings.
What happens if an outdoor set-up meets bad weather?
An alternative wet-weather location must be given for outdoor set-ups with at least 24 hours' notice, and backdrop installations can be cancelled if the weather or venue makes them unsafe.
