MCO Events is a corporate event agency based on Fitzroy Street in St Kilda. Its work centres on conferences, exhibitions, gala dinners, incentive programs, executive events and brand activations, and the team describes itself as a professional conference organiser for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions. It also operates as a social enterprise. The agency can take an event from strategy to bump-out. That covers aligning the event with business goals, sourcing the venue, booking caterers and entertainment, coordinating stage, audio, lighting and screen production with partner suppliers, and running the event on site. Registration is handled too, from invitations, RSVPs and ticketing to event websites, name badges and QR scanning at the door. Clients who only need help with part of an event, or support on the day itself, can brief the team for that instead. Design is a separate strand of the service. MCO plans layouts, staging, signage, lighting and room flow so a conference or launch reflects the client's brand, and works sponsor and partner activations into the space. After the event, the team can extend its value with content, PR and follow-up, and provides reporting with recommendations for next time. Each client gets a dedicated project lead, working with founder and managing director Melissa Yu and head of event operations Lily McCarthy, with regular updates, progress reports and budget tracking throughout planning. Enquiries start with a form, and the events team replies within one to two business days to set up a discovery consultation.
