Christmas Party Venues in Burwood

What to Know Before Booking Christmas Party Venues

For a company Christmas with the whole workforce at one sitting, Vogue Ballroom on Blackburn Road in Burwood East is worth a look. Gala dinners and corporate events already sit alongside its weddings, and every function gets the entire building, with security guards on site. Why it suits a large work Christmas:

Whole-company dinner: tables for between 100 and 370 staff, set round, trestle or oval.
Drinks only: a cocktail format licensed for 420, though 360 is more comfortable.
Presentations: audio-visual gear and fast internet, with technical help on hand.
Welcome: the marble foyer handles arrival drinks and canapés before the ballroom opens.
After the formalities: a 10m by 10m dance floor.

Because quotes depend on date and season, ask for prices on more than one late November or December night before settling on one. Packages run from custom through to all-inclusive, and staff who drive can use the private car park, which fits 120 cars.

Stand-up functions get canapés; seated ones can run to several courses.
Big rooms move faster with an alternate drop, though one dish for the whole table is also possible.
Cultural requirements and dietary needs are folded into the menu at the planning stage.
Drink packages are offered alongside the catering.

Setting the room for the end of the year

Festive installations can hang from anchor points in the chandelier-lined ceiling.
Lighting can be changed to suit a Christmas or gala theme.
Black, white and silver tones and silk drapery give a mixed-seniority team a dressed-up night out.
With gala dinners and corporate events part of the venue's regular work, a formal company night is familiar ground.
