About NextGen AV
NextGen AV is a Melbourne audio visual hire and event production company with a team of 24, including audio engineers, show operators and digital content creators. It handles hundreds of events a year, from boardroom presentations to city-scale celebrations, and works mostly with businesses, event organisers, agencies and venues. The hire range is broad. Audio covers professional speaker packages, battery PAs with wireless microphones, lecterns, instrument mics and mixing desks, up to entertainment line-array systems. Vision includes LED video walls, projectors and screens, TVs on floor stands, live video switching and broadcast cameras for hybrid events. Lighting runs from room uplighting and festoon and garden lighting to moving heads, gobo projection, smoke and special effects. There is also staging and risers, drapes, red carpet and bollards, rigging and event power, a mobile stage trailer for outdoor events, and digital signage with touch-screen kiosks. The process is simple: you share the date, venue, audience size and goals; the team recommends the right setup and crew; then they deliver everything, set it up, run the show and pack down when it is over. Technical directors stay on the ground with you during the event. Past work includes a New Year's Eve celebration in Docklands, car launches, fashion week shows, gala nights and corporate conferences.
