About Lovers Lane Weddings & Events
Lovers Lane Weddings & Events is a boutique wedding studio started in 2022 by creative director Mardi Sullivan. Alongside its planning and styling work it keeps its own hire collection, so couples who are styling their own day can book the same pieces the studio uses at its weddings. The look is soft and romantic: ivory satin, ruffled linen, tall taper candles and sculptural ceramics. Furniture in the range includes a round tiered table and two service bars, one in ecru ivory and one in forest green, which work as a bar front or a dessert and grazing station. Beyond furniture there are draping and fabrics, plinths, props and display pieces, signing table sets, wishing wells, a gold vintage mirror welcome sign, cake stands, glassware, silverware, plates and table linen, plus a champagne tower supplied with its own table. Some pieces are made in-house by Tom, Mardi's husband, who runs the warehouse. The warehouse is in Hamilton North, and the studio says it covers the whole Hunter Valley, from Pokolbin through to Wollombi, along with Maitland and the surrounding areas. Its testimonials include weddings at Redleaf in Wollombi and Wallalong House. Delivery and collection are charged per kilometre from the warehouse, or you can pick items up yourself on a Thursday and bring them back on the Tuesday. If you would rather hand the look over entirely, the studio offers a design and styling service with a stylist and assistants on the day for up to ten hours, and a partial planning service that adds vendor management and day-of coordination. Planning clients get the tabletop styling collection included and a discount on further hire pieces.

What does Lovers Lane Weddings & Events hire out?
Furniture such as a round tiered table and ivory or green service bars, along with draping, candles and holders, plinths, props, signing table sets, wishing wells, signage, cake stands, glassware, cutlery, plates, table linen and a champagne tower with table.
Are the listed hire prices GST-inclusive?
No. The terms say prices exclude GST unless stated otherwise in writing, so add 10% to the figures in the online range. The round tiered table at $170 works out to $187 with GST.
How much is delivery to a Hunter Valley venue?
Delivery and pick-up are charged at $2 per km for each trip, measured from the Hamilton North warehouse. The exact amount is confirmed when the studio sends your quote.
Can we collect the hire items ourselves?
Yes. Self-collected orders are picked up from the warehouse on a Thursday and returned on the Tuesday. Your vehicle needs to fit the items inside, or have proper covers and tie-downs if it is a ute.
Can Lovers Lane style the wedding as well as supply the pieces?
Yes. The design and styling service puts a head stylist and assistants on site for up to ten hours, and the partial planning service adds vendor management, a run sheet and coordination on the day. Both include pack-down of Lovers Lane items and travel to the venue.
