About The Event Master
The Event Master is a wedding and event hire business working from a warehouse in Kurri Kurri. It began as Valley Barrel Hire and is still part of Valley Barrel Furniture, the sister business that builds custom wine barrel furniture, so many of the barrels, bar tops and tables on hire are made in-house. Husband and wife Josh and Chloe run it, along with Hunter Valley Mirror Booth, and have supplied more than a thousand events since 2016. The range leans rustic and vintage. Wine barrels work as high bar tables, bars and cake stands, paired with white or black stools. There are long timber tables and bench seats for receptions, white folding chairs for ceremonies, vintage lounge suites with rugs for a lounge corner, timber arbours and draped cabanas, festoon lighting and an assortment of decorative props. Lawn games, including giant connect four, jenga and noughts and crosses, are popular for canape hour. There is no fixed price list on the website. Couples request the itemised catalogue, choose pieces, and the team puts together a custom package; if something is missing they can source it from other suppliers they work with. Catalogue prices do not include delivery, which is quoted by location. Everything is delivered and collected by the team. You can choose a drop-off service and style the pieces yourself, or have the crew set the furniture out ready for your stylist or coordinator. The business covers both the Upper and Lower Hunter Valley, from vineyard venues around Pokolbin to private properties and barns further up the valley.

Does The Event Master publish prices?
Not on its website. Request the catalogue and the team will put together a package. Catalogue prices do not include delivery, which is quoted for your venue.

Can I collect the hire items myself?
No. The Event Master delivers and collects all stock, and items must stay at the address listed on the booking.
