About Shooting Stars Photobooth
Shooting Stars Photobooth is a Woongarrah business hiring out three kinds of booth for weddings, birthdays and work functions on the Central Coast. The Photo Pod and the timber Vintage Booth shoot with a DSLR camera under studio lighting, while the 360 booth captures short videos under studio and neon tube lighting, set off by gold bollards. Every package is attended for the full hire, so someone is on hand to run the booth and hand out props. Guests can step in as often as they like. With the Photo Pod or Vintage Booth, each session prints two 2 x 6 inch strips with a design made for your event, and a standard guest book is supplied for strips and messages. Digital copies go straight to phones through a QR code where wifi allows, and a password-protected gallery of every shot follows after the event. The 360 booth adds a custom overlay to each video and a sharing station for instant downloads by QR code, AirDrop, text or email. Backdrops are 8 ft square tension fabric, wide enough for a big group, in around thirty designs from floral walls and greenery to sequins, gold drapes, ocean marble and Christmas scenes. The minimum hire is three hours, and four to five hours is suggested for weddings.

What is the minimum hire time?
Bookings run for at least three hours. For a wedding, four or five hours is recommended so the booth is open through the reception, and the team is happy to advise on timing.
Is set-up time charged?
No. The team arrives an hour before your booking starts to set up and packs down five minutes after it ends, and neither is billed. An earlier set-up can be arranged but may cost extra.
Do we get digital copies of the photos?
Yes. Guests can send their photos to their phones on the spot where wifi is available, and you receive a password-protected online gallery of every photo after the event.
Which booth types can we hire?
There are three: the Photo Pod and the Vintage Booth, which print photo strips, and a 360 booth that records short videos with a custom overlay. A digital-only package without prints is also offered.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery, set-up and pack-down are included in packages for events up to 50 km from their 2259 base at Woongarrah, which takes in the Central Coast.
