About Elkie Hollow

Elkie Hollow is a Berkeley Vale business built around fairy-tale celebrations. Its hosts arrive in character as fairies, princesses, mermaids and storybook favourites, and run the party with games, crafts, dancing and plenty of sparkle while the adults look after the food. The mobile menu is broad. Face painting and balloon twisting can be booked on their own or added to a themed party, and glitter tattoos are a quick option for a crowd. There are plaster painting and potion-making parties for crafty kids, a fairy floss fairy who spins sugar on the spot, a fairy wing station and a pamper package with robes, foot soaks, clay masks and nail polish for older girls. Most parties come with a styled table setting, from enchanted forest picnics with toadstools and wisteria to pastel mermaid themes on the sand. For families who would rather host it themselves, there is a DIY range: picnic table hire, first-birthday and onederland setups, disco and flower lighting, chairs and décor pieces, plus boxed paint, plaster and pamper kits. Businesses and venues use Elkie Hollow for activations too, with seasonal craft stations, a festival glitter bar and face painting for family days, resorts and markets. Bookings are made online, with some services priced on application.

Performance Details

Hosts arrive in costume and set up the styled table, craft stations or painting area before guests arrive. Outdoor parties need a flat, shaded space and a wet-weather backup. Glitter tattoos are applied to arms with skin-safe glue, and the face paints wash off with water.

Frequently asked questions

What kinds of parties does Elkie Hollow run?

Fairy, princess and mermaid character parties, pamper parties, potion-making and plaster painting parties, and fairy floss experiences, most with a styled table set up at your venue.

Can we book face painting on its own?

Yes. A mobile face painter with balloon twisting can be booked as a standalone service, and glitter tattoos are available as a shorter one-hour option.

Is the glitter bar only for kids?

No. The mobile glitter bar is also offered for hens parties, girls' nights, festivals and corporate functions, with gems, glitter and shimmer designs applied by an artist.

Can we hire the styling and run the party ourselves?

Yes. Picnic tables, themed party setups, lighting, chairs and boxed DIY paint, plaster and pamper kits can be hired or bought for families who prefer to host.
