About Dan Brannan Photography
Dan Brannan is a full-time wedding photographer based in Healesville. He has been shooting weddings for more than 12 years and has covered over 700 of them, from vineyard ceremonies to marquee receptions. His approach is mostly candid and documentary. He works quietly through the ceremony and speeches, joins in the banter with your family and friends, and steps up the energy on the dance floor when the night calls for it. Couple portraits are kept short – usually around 15 minutes, with a few extra at sunset – so you are back with your guests quickly. The coverage takes in getting ready, the ceremony, family groups, portraits, the reception and the dancing. Editing is classic and true to life, with a mix of colour and black-and-white frames. Expect roughly 75 finished images for every hour of coverage, delivered in an online gallery you can share. The gallery includes high-resolution files ready to print, web-sized files for sharing and a print shop for ordering. Fine art albums, a second photographer and extra hours can be added to any package. Dan photographs regularly at Yarra Valley venues such as Coombe Yarra Valley, Stones of the Yarra Valley, Zonzo Estate and Yering Station. Yes. The elopement package covers up to two hours of photography for $2,250, with extra time available at $500 per hour for up to four more hours.
How long until we receive our wedding photos?
Dan aims to have your online gallery ready within four to six weeks. You can download high-resolution and web-sized files and order prints straight from the gallery.
How many photos will we get?
As a guide, expect around 75 edited images for each hour of coverage. Dan culls the set down to the strongest frames while keeping the full story of the day.
