School Formal Venues in Northern Wollongong

Choosing the Right School Formal Venue

The beachside villages of the north sit below the escarpment, and Panorama House sits on top of it. The function centre is at 811 Princes Highway, Maddens Plains – the area known locally as Bulli Tops – and it runs packages written specifically for school formals.

A formal committee's checklist, answered:

Room for the cohort: five rooms, scaling up to the Full Room for 200 adults and beyond
Dance floor: polished parquetry, with room lighting, in the formal packages
Presentations: an overhead projector, screens and a cordless microphone
Getting students there: a return bus from the Wollongong CBD can be added
Coordination: a function team manages the booking from enquiry to the night

With ocean outlooks from the dining rooms, the setting does much of the work for photos, leaving the committee to focus on numbers, the guest list and the playlist.
