About Divine Productions
Divine Productions is the business of Anthony Hughes, a Kiama-based performer who sings with an acoustic guitar, DJs and hosts as an MC. He has spent more than ten years working full time in weddings, and his approach is to cover the whole day himself: soft acoustic songs while guests arrive and during the ceremony, live music through canapes, then a switch to DJ sets once the reception gets going. There are four set packages. The smallest gives you an hour of ceremony music and two hours during canapes. The second covers the reception with live acoustic songs, a DJ set and MC duties across five hours. The two larger packages stretch to six or seven hours and add the ceremony or cocktail hour on top. Every package includes the sound system, microphones and lighting for the performer, as well as set up and pack down, and the listed prices include GST. Outside weddings, Anthony takes bookings for birthday parties, corporate functions, product launches and school formals, and he has played large after-parties for corporate clients. His repertoire leans on singalong covers, from Elvis and Neil Diamond to Bruce Springsteen, and the DJ half of the night is built around your requests. Bookings start with an enquiry form on his website, and he works with each couple on the music for their key moments.

What is included in a Divine Productions package?

Can Anthony cover both the ceremony and the reception?
Yes. The larger packages start with acoustic songs during the ceremony or cocktail hour, then move to live vocals, DJ sets and MC duties for the reception, up to seven hours in total.
What happens if the wedding runs longer than planned?
Extra performance time is charged at $350 an hour. Quoted prices can also change if the final timings of the day move, so confirm the schedule when you book.
Are there travel costs?
Travel beyond his local area is billed at $60 an hour, and accommodation may be needed at the client's cost for distant events. Weddings around Kiama and the Illawarra are close to home.
Does he play events other than weddings?
Yes. Divine Productions also takes birthday parties, corporate functions, product launches and school formals, with the same mix of live acoustic music and DJ sets.
