About Quizy Game Show Sydney
Quizy turns a quiz night into a television-style game show. Inside the Escape This centre on George Street in the Sydney CBD, your group steps onto a set fitted with buzzers, screens and stage lighting, then races through trivia on subjects from geography and history to film, music, sport and video games. In between the question rounds, the game throws in charades, dance-offs and meme-based challenges, so the people who don't know their capital cities still get their moment. Each game runs for about an hour, and it pays to arrive 15 minutes early for the briefing. Rooms take between 4 and 12 players and are always private to the booking group. With two rooms side by side, up to 24 guests can play in the same slot, and larger groups can run back-to-back sessions. At the end, everyone is called up in a closing ceremony with a tongue-in-cheek title of their own, which suits a birthday, a hens or bucks party, or an end-of-year work outing. Questions can also be played in several languages, including French, German, Italian and Spanish. For a bigger event, the whole Escape This Sydney CBD centre can be hired exclusively for up to 75 guests, combining the quiz rooms with its escape rooms. Food and drinks aren't served on site, but plenty of restaurants and bars are nearby, and the team can point you to venues it partners with. The rooms are wheelchair accessible, phones go in a locker during play, and the game includes flashing lights and spells of darkness.

Frequently asked questions
How many people can play at once?
Each quiz room holds 4 to 12 players, and the Sydney venue has two rooms, so up to 24 can play in one slot. Bigger groups can book consecutive sessions or hire the whole centre for up to 75 guests.
How much does it cost?
Sydney games are priced at $39 to $45 per person, with the rate depending on how many players are in your booking. Exclusive hire of the entire venue is quoted on request.
How long does a game take?
The game itself lasts around 60 minutes. Plan to arrive about 15 minutes beforehand for a briefing, so allow roughly an hour and a half in total.
Can we eat and drink there?
Quizy doesn't provide catering or drinks, and guests who are under the influence won't be allowed to play. The George Street venue is close to plenty of bars and restaurants, and the team can suggest partner venues for afterwards.
Is it suitable for kids?
The game is pitched at ages 10 and up, and children aged 7 and over can join as paying guests in a family group. Younger players need an adult with them in the room.
