About Camera Creations Photography
Camera Creations is a boutique photography agency in Balmain run by principal photographer and director Monique Perera. Monique studied at the Australian School of Photography, managed portrait studios in her twenties and moved into corporate events around 2000, just before the Sydney Olympics. She founded Camera Creations in 2013, and the agency now works with a team of photographers on events, business portraits and marketing imagery. Events are the heart of the business. The client galleries list awards dinners for the banking, finance and retail sectors, charity balls, leadership conferences, industry summits, product launches, a Mardi Gras celebration, a Melbourne Cup function and company anniversaries. The photographers aim to capture the energy of a room, the entertainment and the expressions on guests' faces, using available light creatively and blending in so people relax. Private clients can book the same team for birthdays, engagement parties, farewells, retirements and weddings. After each event, clients receive a complimentary web gallery that stays live for six months, with images ready to download and share, and advice on using photos across social media and websites is part of the service if you want it. The agency also photographs venues and creates marketing content for hospitality groups, which is why its work often shows off the styling of a room as well as the people in it.
