About Kristina Reitsma Music
Kristina Reitsma is a Sydney acoustic musician who sings and plays guitar at weddings. Her sound is gentle and unhurried, suited to a coastal ceremony, drinks against a mountain view or a rustic barn reception. She does not need mains power, so live music can follow a couple down an aisle set up in a paddock or a patch of rainforest. She is based in Sydney and says she will travel to wherever the wedding is. The Ceremony and Canapés package costs $1,300. It starts with 20 minutes of music as guests arrive, includes three ceremony songs chosen by the couple for the walk down the aisle, the register signing and the exit, and then up to 1.5 hours of music over canapés while the couple is away having photos taken. The Deluxe package at $1,700 adds up to three 45-minute sets through dinner plus the first dance and a father and daughter dance, each to a song the couple picks. For couples taking the Deluxe package there is a $300 party set add-on: PA hire to run a playlist the couple has made from after the first dance until 11.30pm, or the venue curfew if that comes first. Kristina still suggests booking a DJ for a full dance floor. Her equipment is professional grade, and she brings a spare microphone for reception speeches. For a fuller sound with harmonies and piano, she also performs as the duo Tash and Kristina.
